Are You Afraid of Laser Hair Removal? “Wow! Why didn’t I get this done long ago?? For the last ten years I have bleached, used hair removal creams and ouch, waxed and tweezed! Whenever someone suggested getting a laser hair removal, I was gripped with a foolish fear. Imagine how much pain, time and money I could have saved in the last ten years… If I did my math right, about 20-24 trips a year to salons, roughly around $450-$500 per each year on salon fees and tips, and how does one even measure the pain and anxiety at each trip.. and the ‘rrrrrip’ of the wax cloth!” Thus spoke Alana, a client after 6 treatments of laser hair removal treatments. Yea, we’ve heard it all. If you are afraid of what a laser treatment might be like, you are not alone. We asked a few clients why they were hesitant to come in earlier and get laser and the answers were repeatedly the same. So we thought its high time people like Alana be stripped of the myths around laser hair removal. Here are some unfound fears: I thought it was a long painful process: Compared to smarting agony...

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure for facial skin resurfacing. This treatment sloughs off dry, dehydrated skin, retextures fine lines, diminishes pore size, and promotes a more youthful appearance.
A gentle cleanse and tone are followed by professional exfoliation utilizing radiance-enhancing microdermabrasion crystals to boost skin’s vitality
After the microdermabrasion treatment, a purifying enzyme decongests the skin followed by a custom blended masque to tighten pores and calm the skin.
For an additional cost, enjoy a full, custom facial after your microdermabrasion treatment. Sensitive skin is calmed, oily to dry skin is normalized, and pigmentation is reduced. Extractions and hydrating masque included.
Microblading or Permanent Makeup
Microblading is exactly what you need to get some perfectly looking strokes that appear most natural whether from a distance or close up. Microblading is the latest trend of filling out brows and reshaping them by depositing thin lines of pigment that resemble separate hair strands.
You’re probably likening microblading to permanently tattooed cosmetic eyebrows, but these are completely different things. Microblading delivers a natural appearance and it is by no means scary like the granny’s blue arch eyebrows that result from permanently tattooed eyebrows. Microblading is done manually through a hand-held device with many sharp needles at the end that are used to strike the skin and deposit pigment. Microblading is so super-fine that it is also referred to as brow embroidery, 3D eyebrows, microstroking and micropigmentation among other terms.
Unlike permanent cosmetic tattooing, microblading is less painful because it isn’t as deep. The appropriate depth for implanting pigmentation in microblading is the epidermis or upper skin layer. When micro pigmentation is too deep, it results in a scratchy appearance and the final results aren’t crispy.
On the other hand, if it is not done deep enough, color won’t be retained long enough. Another advantage of microblading is that it is semi-permanent and lasts for up to two years, which means that you are not signing a lifetime commitment and that it won’t leave some unnatural shades commonly experienced with the application of permanent cosmetic brow tattoos. However, regular retouch is highly recommended to maintain beautiful and perfectly natural looking hair strokes.
